Specializing in Sporthorses: Breeding, Dressage, and Hunter/Jumpers. Artistry in motion...working as one. This is the goal of breeder and trainer Lisa Sharer. Lisa and her family own and operate a 47-acre breeding and training farm located in the rolling hills outside of Verona, Wisconsin. Lisa's philosophy is based in classical teaching. She, like many teachers before her, believes that the horse is the greatest trainer a rider can have. Every horse and every rider is an individual, and Lisa believes each can be taught to perform brilliantly if they are given a proper foundation of correct skills and attain mutual harmony. She emphasizes communication, connection and highly attenuated level of give and take between horse and rider. Through these principles, artistry can be achieved.
